Nothing About Us Without Us
Help shape the future of Australian arts and disability culture.
ADNA exists to connect, champion and advocate for d/Deaf and disabled artists, screen practitioners, arts workers, organisations and communities across Australia.
Through our policy and advocacy work, we are on a mission to ensure our sector’s voices, experiences and aspirations are part of conversations with governments, funding bodies, cultural institutions and decision-makers.
This is your opportunity to have your say. Whether you are an artist, arts worker, facilitator, organisation or community member, your experiences help us build a stronger understanding of what is happening across the country, and what needs to change.
Together we can identify barriers, celebrate what is working, and advocate for more accessible and inclusive creative futures.
Contribute to policy and advocacy
Strong advocacy begins with lived experience. ADNA regularly prepares submissions, policy responses and recommendations on issues that affect the arts and disability community. We believe the most effective advocacy is grounded in the knowledge, expertise and lived experience of our community.
When opportunities arise, we will publish consultations, surveys and calls for feedback here. Your insights help us ensure our advocacy reflects the diverse experiences of people working and participating in arts and culture across Australia.
