Theatre and Performance, Comedy and Cabaret · THORNBURY, VIC

ALLY - I am an award-winning physical comedian and variety performer, specialising in absurd and comedic performances, workshops and creative programs that playfully address environmental and social issues through joy, satire, and physicality. I have taught and performed extensively around ‘australia’, and overseas, including through a Regional Arts Fellowship in NYC in 2023. I am learning more about creating accessible and equitable performance, and am passionate about this! My upcoming Melbourne Fringe show Krilling Me Softly offers wheelchair accessibility, a 'Meet the Artist' and Tactile Tour, Access Guide (including audio version), and Relaxed/asked session.

About their work

Krilling Me Softly is a new show fusing clowning, comedy, and absurdist cabaret. Poignant, joyous, and unabashedly fun, this show explores existential crisis through the eyes of a krill.

ADNA acknowledges the lived and living experience of people with disability and their family members, carers and supporters.

We recognise the huge contribution people with lived and living experience make to ADNA's work, disability advocacy, and arts and culture in general.

ADNA uses ‘person-first language,’ emphasising the person, not the disability. As a disability-led organisation, we also embrace ‘identity-first’ language, acknowledging disability as identity.

ADNA acknowledges the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia. We honour their Elders past and present. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples' artistic and cultural expressions.
