Introduction to Access
Access is about removing barriers so d/Deaf and disabled people can take part fully, safely and equally. It is more than ramps, captions or checklists. Access includes attitudes, communication, planning, flexibility, time, information, technology, spaces and relationships. ADNA believes that access is key to creating the conditions for creativity, connection and belonging.
These Introduction to Access resources can help artists, organisations and communities understand where barriers exist and how to begin addressing them. They also support a shift from treating access as an add-on to making it part of everyday practice.
