I work with Nature to create worlds full of beautiful, monstrosities that seduce, beguile and disturb. I am fascinated by myths which demonise ‘different’ and photograph marginalised native forests and swamps using a cubist lens. These images become non-binary, multi-perspective photographic compositions which are combined with sound, voice and motion to create immersive, embodied experiences. My art installations challenge colonial screen myths which cast the Australian landscape (Nature) as villain and crimescene to be ‘cleansed’ and ‘domesticated’. My cinematic cubist artworks reverse the colonial narrative through multi-sensory, decolonising art experiments, which suspend disbelief, create connection, incite awe and empower Nature.

About their work

My multi-perspective artworks express my experience of the world as an intersectional human being - NeuroDivergent, NonBinary, Pasifika, Lesbian, Queer. NB: AI is not part of my arts practice.

ADNA acknowledges the lived and living experience of people with disability and their family members, carers and supporters.

We recognise the huge contribution people with lived and living experience make to ADNA's work, disability advocacy, and arts and culture in general.

ADNA uses ‘person-first language,’ emphasising the person, not the disability. As a disability-led organisation, we also embrace ‘identity-first’ language, acknowledging disability as identity.

ADNA acknowledges the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia. We honour their Elders past and present. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples' artistic and cultural expressions.
