Marcus Nunn
ArtistMarcus Nunn is a Brisbane-based artist and storyteller whose practice brings classic fairytales into conversation with contemporary narratives, guided by his belief that ‘everything is just perfect.’ His clean, thoughtful compositions feature crisp, confident ink lines and vibrant colour, radiating positivity and joy. Inspired by his love of animals and his work with Happy Paws, RSPCA, Marcus has developed a commissioned series of Brisbane-based pet portraits. His pet portraits and other works are featured in AMPLIFY ME! part of Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery.
About their work
All the Pets I Wish I Could Meet is an ongoing portrait series celebrating the warmth, affection, and emotional connection of animal companionship. The works evoke a sense of grounding, home, and belonging, reminding us of our place within a wider world of care and connection. Super Marcus and Super Vinnie are also featured in Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery exhibition, AMPLIFY ME! sharing the message of ‘Everything is Just Perfect’ through a collaborative animation and vitrine work.
